COOU Post UTME Requirements

  • Obtain the required JAMB cut-off mark for COOU based on their chosen faculty.
  • Choose COOU as their first or second choice during the 2024 UTME.
  • Attain specific JAMB scores depending on the faculty: 140 and above for Faculties of Education and Agriculture, 200 and above for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and 150 and above for other programs.
  • Have at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, at not more than two sittings.

Candidates who did not initially select COOU but wish to make it their first choice institution on the JAMB portal are also eligible to apply.

COOU Post UTME Form Cost and Payment Process

The cost of the COOU Post UTME form for the 2024/2025 session is N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira Only). Follow these steps to make your payment and complete the application:

  1. Visit COOU’s official portal.
  2. Click on “Prospective Students.”
  3. Select “PUTME Invoice.”
  4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click on “Sign in” to generate an invoice.
  5. Make payment at any bank or use your ATM card.
  6. Return to the portal, re-enter your JAMB Registration Number, and click on “Apply Here.”
  7. Complete the required information, including your Date of Birth.
  8. Upload your O’level result(s) to JAMB CAPS using approved CBT centres.
  9. Upload documents, ensuring their sizes do not exceed 50KB. Required documents include Birth Certificate, JAMB Result Slip, O’Level 1, and O’Level 2 (for those with two certificates).
  10. Review the summary page, check for accuracy, and confirm by ticking the confirmation box.
  11. Click “SUBMIT” and print your acknowledgment slip.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates who selected COOU as their first choice institution can also apply for the screening via the drop-down on the prospective student panel (direct entry application).
