  • Direct Entry: 2 ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and one from Biology, Botany, Zoology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Physics, Geography, or Geology/Mathematics.
  • UTME Subjects: English Language, Chemistry, Agriculture or Biology, Mathematics or Physics.
  • O’ Level Requirements: 5 subjects at one sitting or 6 subjects at two sittings, including English Language, Biology/Agric Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Geography/Physics/Economics.
  • Special Consideration: Accepts NCE/OND/HND in related fields and O/L credit pass in Biology with a Credit pass in Agric Science.

Agricultural Extension and Rural Development:

  • Direct Entry: 2 ‘A’ level passes similar to Agricultural Economics.
  • UTME Subjects and O’ Level Requirements: Same as Agricultural Economics.
  • Special Consideration: Similar to Agricultural Economics.

Faculty of Renewable & Natural Resources:

Aquaculture and Fisheries Management:

  • Direct Entry: 2 ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and one from Biology, Botany, Zoology, Agric Science, Economics, Physics, Geography, or Mathematics.
  • UTME Subjects: English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science, and Physics/Mathematics.
  • O’ Level Requirements: Same as Agricultural Economics.
  • Special Consideration: Accepts OND or NCE in Fisheries and Agriculture with meeting ‘O’ Level requirements.

Faculty of Arts:

Linguistics & African Languages [a] Linguistics:

  • Direct Entry: At least TWO ‘A’ level passes including any language and another Arts or Social Science subject.
  • UTME Subjects: English Language, one Arts subject, and any two subjects from Arts, Social Sciences, or Science.
  • O’ Level Requirements: 5 subjects at one sitting or 6 subjects at two sittings, including English Language, one Arts subject, and any other three or four subjects from relevant fields.
  • Special Consideration: Accepts NCE with credits in relevant subjects.

Yoruba:

  • Direct Entry: A level pass in Yoruba and one Arts/Social Science subject. NCE in Yoruba and any other Arts or Social Science subjects.
  • UTME Subjects and O’ Level Requirements: Similar to Linguistics.
  • Note: One Arts subject is distinct from the compulsory English Language
