2024 JAMB Direct Entry Registration: Step-by-Step Application Procedure and Key Dates

The registration fee is N3,500, and candidates can obtain the form at the Board’s State and Zonal Offices. Important requirements include a unique mobile phone number, National Identification Number (NIN) submission, profile code, biometric and photograph capture, and successful biometric verification at an accredited CBT Centre.

DE Candidate Information Requirements:

Candidates must provide information such as the previous school’s registration/matriculation number, subjects of qualification, awarding institution, and institution actually attended.

Admission Rules:

DE candidates with completed results must upload their A’level qualifications and O’level results during registration. Verification of uploaded results will be done on the JAMB platform (CAPS MAIL) for admission processing. For candidates awaiting results, the upload of the Admission Letter and Registration Template is mandatory.

Aptitude Test for DE Candidates:

Starting from the 2024 Admission Year, an aptitude test will be introduced for DE candidates. The dates and test venue will be communicated in due course, and candidates should regularly check their e-facility profile for updates.

JAMB DE Form Application for Foreign Countries:

For candidates in foreign countries, the registration fee is $30 in the local currency of each respective country. The registration process can be completed by downloading application documents from JAMB’s website and submitting them at designated centers in the chosen country.
